Songs I Can Never Get Too Much of Part 5

They blur into a bunch of music and bands that my high school friends introduced me to, force-feeding me music on car trips to Bartlesville, OK for my own good. Trips to the nearest Hastings or the sad little mall that was the closest (about an hour away) thing to shopping available to my high school town of Independence, Kansas.
Last night I found the refrain of one of their songs (Blackout) running through my head, and realized it was a fairly common occurrence. Although I don't listen to them often any more, the Nixons are as appealing to me now as they ever were.
