I've got a two week break from classes and while I have a lot to do, I thought I'd try to get at least one BIG book read during my "free" time. But which one??
Thanks for the suggestion. Tell me more about it? I'm actually picking from books that I already have on hand this time, but I might look into it for my next big break. :)
If you haven't heard of Walter Moers, see if you can find The City of Dreaming Books. It's an epic fantasy adventure about reading and writing. It... it doesn't get any better than that.
Clarissa is about a girl named, curiously enough, Clarissa. She's set to be married to a dude she's not particularly fond of, as she prefers this guy named Lovelace. She runs off with him and hijinks ensue. It's an eighteenth century novel, and is actually quite tragic, but a very good read.
